Amongst the dignitaries expected at this year’s Nigeria Diaspora Investment Summit include President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and billionaire, Aliko Dangote.
The Summit which is expected to hold between November 5-7 in the Nigerian capital, Abuja will have no fewer than 2000 participants and exhibitors, according to the Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, in a pre-event briefing.
She also said having the President as the Special Guest of Honour underscores the significance of the event.Dangote is also expected to be the Guest Speaker.
“His presence is aimed at drawing from the wealth of his knowledge and practical experience in successfully conducting business in Nigeria”, Dabiri added.
“Mr. John Olajide will deliver the keynote address on the second day, contributing his own valuable experience and insights”, she stated.Figures from the entertainment industry, like Richard Mofe-Damijo, among others, are hoped to grace the event.
Dabiri said this year’s Summit centers on key sectors that aid the growth of investments and fostering development in the country. According to her, they include Finance, ICT, Fintech, Creative Industries, Sports and Entertainment, Agribusiness, Healthcare, Education, Real Estate and Infrastructure, as well as Manufacturing and Mining.
“This year’s event promises to be exceptional, featuring insightful discussions, networking opportunities, and actionable strategies to harness the potential of the Nigerian Diaspora”, she noted.
