Charity organisation, Save the Children says armed gangs attacking Nigerian farmers is threatening to result to a devastating hunger crisis.
In the first six months of this alone, researchers say armed groups killed more than 120 farmers and kidnapped more than 30 others across Nigeria.
The UN had estimated that more than 25 million Nigerians could face food insecurity this year – due to protracted conflicts and rising prices.
