Marriage makes every human complete. It is an opportunity to achieve a union that will open up greater possibilities. Marriages are nothing but a beautiful exchange of love, energy, commitment and knowledge which is based on trust, faithfulness, transparency, acceptance and you understanding. The best part of it is discovering a whole new dimension of oneself.
These were some of the points gathered as Very Rev’d Victor Agoh, Ph.D, of Methodist Church, Wuse, Abuja, gave her daughter’s hand in marriage last Saturday in the Nigerian capital.
It was a day of joy as the couples danced their way through the audience that had families from both sides, friends, colleagues and members from the church.
Precious Chidiebube Agoh, a graduate of Abia State University, Uturu and Chukwudike Enyinnaya Nwachukwu, a graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) looked like a match made for each, going by the visible chemistry struck, while they danced to different sounds of music as guests watched..
An elated father of the bride, Very Rev’d Agoh, Ph.D was filled with appreciation to God, as he prayed for a fulfilled married life for the couples.
“We thank God for the wedding of my daughter, he said.
“Our prayers are for God to bless, help, direct, guide and and be with them. They will be fruitful. They will not lack any good thing in life. They will see their grand children and be a source of happiness to everyone”, he added.
Mother of the bride, Ezinne Lady Jane Agoh described her daughter’s marriage as a one that will be an example for others to emulate.
“Today is a beautiful day and we give God all the Glory and honour for His faithfulness, and for bringing Chuks and Precious to pursue destiny, she began.
“They will be a testimony to their generation. Like they were happy today, the joy of the Lord will continue to be their strength. God will beautify anything they lay their hands on. When they call upon God, He will multiply them.
“The Bible says they will multiply and be fruitful. Nothing shall stop them when it is time for them to be fruitful in Jesus name. They will leave landmark for this generation to follow, souls will be won for God.
“Through their marriage, many will long to marry, broken homes will be healed and the Grace of God will shine in their lives all through their days on earth”, she concluded.
