The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has organised a 3-day training for Infection Prevention Control (IPC) focal points from secondary healthcare facilities in the North-West region.
This is part of efforts to strengthen IPC programs in the country.
Led by State IPC focal points and funded by the The Global Fund’s COVID-19 Response Mechanism, the training is the first of a three-part series, aimed at equipping focal points with the skills needed to establish IPC programs within their facilities.
