Nigeria has announced a programme for professionals across different fields that include health, health-related, information technology and, social sciences.
The one year National Health Fellows Programme is backed by the Nigerian Health Sector Renewal Investment Initiative SWAp Coordination Office, under the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.
Its aim is to drive meaningful change with innovation in health sector, according to a statement released by the country’s health ministry.
“This prestigious programme will bring together a cohort of emerging professionals across various disciplines, including health and health-related, information technology and, social sciences”, Minister, Prof Muhammad Pate said.
He said this will cultivate a cadre of highly skilled and motivated health leaders capable of driving meaningful change and innovation in our health sector.
Interested Nigerian professionals are expected to apply for the National Health Fellowship programme, and join the renewed pathway to leadership development of the health sector.
27th January 2025 is the deadline for submission of application.
