Lagos, Nigeria – Mediaage NG News – Nigeria has launched a $600 million dollar fund for tech development to span the next four years.
It also aims to build partnerships that will build on the skills of tech entrepreneurs in the country.

Nigeria does not need to reinvent the wheel in what is already known in other countries but, we can leverage the opportunity”, the Nigerian Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani said at the 2023 Nordic Nigeria Connect in Lagos.
He said developing the country’s tech sector should be the responsibility of both the government and private sectors.
“The role of criticism of the government should create room for improvement , hence we should criticise with facts and evidences to let the government do better”, the Minister said.
