The Nigerian Health and Social Welfare Ministry is set to hold a Stakeholders meeting tagged ”2024 Nigeria Health Sector -Wide Joint Annual Review (JAR)”.

This is in a bid to reposition the country’s health sector.

As revealed in a statement signed by Alaba Balogun, the Head of the Ministry’s Information & Public Relations Department, the meeting is aimed at rejigging performance and highlight achievements recorded under its newly operationalized Sector-Wide Approach (SWAp).

The maiden 2024 Nigeria Health Sector-Wide Joint Annual Review JAR will feature two major components-technical review sessions where Stakeholders will assess key performance indicators and a high- level political review to secure the political commitment needed to advance Nigeria’s Health priorities and goals.
