Partnership Firm Helping Youth In Skills Development

NASARAWA, Nigeria – Mediaage NG News – The 7th edition of the Youth Entertainment Festival, organised by the Public Private Initiative on Youth & Community Development (PPIYCD) will afford youth the opportunity to learn and improve their skills.

The two day event is aimed at showcasing hidden raw talents in the Nigerian society for exposure, development and empowerment.

It is also projected at creating a platform to give a voice to the voiceless.

“Youth are prone to getting involved in social vices. So, this is a form of keeping them engaged positively to exhibit their talents.

“There are good talents in these suburbs. We want to make sure they understand that they can match the heights of talented Nigerians like Wizkid, Davido, Osimhen, amongst others”, Executive Director of the Initiative,Comrade Benjamin Dennis said.

“The Chief of the community, having given us a platform to stage this event is our main partner.

It’s an event that features comedy, fashion show, music, cultural display and several other packages”, he added.

Public Private Initiative on Youth & Community Development (PPIYCD) is a Civil Society/Non-governmental Organization that specialises in the empowerment of the rural people (especially the youths-male/female) and community development.

It also focuses on bringing the public and private sector, the people (communities/grassroots) together for an all inclusive participation and partnership for development.
