The Nigerian police say it has arrested nine persons in reference to the renewed attacks in Mangu local government area of Plateau State.
The attacks killed at least 50 individuals.
Spokesperson for the military, General Edward Buba, said the Nigerian has deployed special forces to places of violence in the state to put it under control.
Churches and mosques were set on fire during the attacks last Tuesday, as villages near Mangu town were targeted by armed men.
