Abuja - October 19 - Mediaage NG News – Chairman, Senate Committee on Solid Minerals, Sen. Osita Ngwu in a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador to Nigeria, Hidayat Baratta, in Abuja, emphasized on the need for more investment in the Nigerian mining sector. He also spoke of the importance of maintaining cordial bilateral relations between Nigeria and Turkey.

Sen. Osita also spoke of the essence of investment and maintaining an already existing cooperation with necessary agencies to provide the required data and ratifying agreements for future partnerships.

Turkish Ambassador, Mr. Baratta in consonance with the Senator, re-affirmed the agreement reached in 2011 between the Turkish government and Nigeria, urging the Senator to discuss with the necessary bodies to uphold the agreement.

They both agreed on the importance of providing accurate data and creating more investor-friendly policies.
