Abuja, Nigeria – Mediaage NG News – The Nigerian Senate on Wednesday called for the federal government to immortalise the late Ohinoyi of Ebira land, Dr. Abdulrahman Ado Ibrahim for his vast leadership skills in the Nigerian business environment.
The late Ado Ibrahim was the founder, Nestle Nigeria Limited when he became the founding Chairman. He was a pioneer mining engineer who invested into mining prospecting business, held several positions in UAC, Kingsway Stores and the amalgamated Tin Mines of Nigerian Limited.
The motion sponsored by Sen. Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, she said with conviction, he was eminent and a committed leader, an incisive thinker and a philanthropist whose interest was to serve both his people and humanity.
Before his death, he was the Coordinator, North Central Traditional Rulers Council, and Vice President, Jamatu Nasirin Islam in Nigeria.
He died in the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on the 29th of October, 2023. A minute silence was observed by the Senate.
